CT State Northwestern Offers Small Business Seminar: Skip the Slop; Marketing for Humans
The Entrepreneurial Center at CT State Northwestern is excited to announce their next Small Business Seminar, Skip the Slop; Marketing for Humans, Tuesday, May 26, 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Market Street Creatives, 100 Lawton Street, Torrington.
Local entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to this free seminar focused on one of today's most pressing marketing challenges: cutting through the noise of AI-generated content to create marketing that is authentic, effective and genuinely human. With inboxes flooded with robotic messaging and feeds full of generic ads, it's easy for business founders to resort to good enough AI marketing that doesn't convert.
Marketing expert Sarah Blecher will walk through a complete campaign live and step-by-step using a local business as an example. Participants will discover exactly how to blend smart AI tools with authentic human strategy and engagement – so their marketing finally feels like theirs and actually works.
This free event is sponsored by Torrington Savings Bank and supported by Market Street Creatives, SCORE and the Northwest CT Chamber of Commerce. A free light dinner will be provided.
