CT State Asnuntuck and American Job Center Celebrate New Workforce Partnership

Connecticut State Community College (CT State) Asnuntuck and the American Job Center (AJC), operated by Capital Workforce Partners, officially celebrated the reopening of the American Job Center's on-campus location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on October 1.

The partnership expands access to career and workforce development services for CT State Asnuntuck students and local community members. Through the collaboration, students will have direct access to career counseling, job search assistance, resume development, workforce training opportunities, and connections to local employers.

The partnership creates new opportunities for students to connect their education to meaningful career pathways. By bringing workforce services directly to campus, we are making it easier for students to access the support they need to achieve their professional goals.

The new on-campus American Job Center supports CT State Asnuntuck's commitment to student success by integrating career readiness and workforce development into the student experience. The partnership will also strengthen connections between education, employers, and the regional workforce system.
