Horizons at Connecticut State Community College (CT State) Norwalk is proud to announce a landmark moment in its program history with the Graduation Celebration of its first-ever high school senior class. The event will take place on Tuesday, May 28 at 6:30 PM in the East Campus Forum on CT State Norwalk’s campus and will honor seven outstanding high school students as they prepare to embark on their college journeys.
This celebration marks a significant milestone for Horizons, which has been steadily growing since its founding in 2013. The evening will include a formal program recognizing the students' accomplishments, as well as their perseverance and growth throughout their years with Horizons.
Special guests in attendance will include key donors, Horizons families, board members, as well as CT State Norwalk CEO Cheryl DeVonish and Mayor of Norwalk, Harry Rilling. Following the program, a community reception will be held with refreshments generously provided by the new Wegmans in Norwalk.
The graduation invites all media and community members to join in celebrating this transformative moment for the program and our students.

Horizons at CT State Norwalk is anchored by a six-week summer program, guided by a professional faculty in a nurturing environment. The program is committed to the development of the whole child through experiences that enhance self-esteem, build problem-solving skills, and encourage a lifelong interest in learning.
