CT State Norwalk Expands Child Development Lab School
Connecticut State Community College (CT State) Norwalk is proud to announce the expansion of its Child Development Center and Laboratory School (CDLS) with a new classroom to support additional families and students throughout the school year.
The new room, entitled the Cloud Classroom, will enhance the overall child care experience through interactive and collaborative student learning. The additional space will also accommodate for more diverse teaching methods and support individual and group activities.
“This new expansion aims to continue supporting our families and ongoing efforts to address the child care needs of our community,” said Camille Charles, CT State Norwalk director of CDLS. “We recognize the importance of not only expanding our services but also fostering professional growth within our community.”
In addition to the preexisting classrooms, the Cloud Classroom not only provides immediate relief for the families on our waitlist but also signifies our campus’s dedication to expanding our services for working parents and providing a nurturing environment for their children.
CT State Norwalk will celebrate the expansion of the Cloud Room with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony as well as honor the donors who made this expansion possible on Friday, September 6, at 9:30AM in the CDLS room, East Campus E117.
